Glittery Gelatin Heart Butterfly For Valentine's Day

Glittery Gelatin Heart Butterfly for Valentine's Day
After making our Heart Sun Catchers to decorate our living area for Valentine's Day, I kept a couple aside and made this beautiful butterfly :)

On your marks...
All you need is two gelatin hearts. Click here to see how you make them.
A pipe cleaner cut to desired size (this will be the body)
Two goggly eyes
Coloured wire for antenna
Hot glue gun

Get set...
With supervision and guidance preschool children can use hot glue guns. We've still got our L Plates on but we're getting there :)

Go...
Glue the wings to the pipe cleaner body with hot glue. The gelatine will melt slightly but it will still attach, just use a little bit. The heat seems to be the culprit.

Attach the eyes with glue.

Twist the wire around the top of the pipe cleaner to secure it. Wrap the ends of the wire around a pencil to get a curl in the wire and you're done!

A heart winged butterfly for Valentine's Day :)
