10 Easy Indoor Toddler Activities: Set Up and Walk Away

Looking over our daily rhythm I realised there were moments in the day when I needed an activity that would entertain my toddlers while I got on with something else. I like to call these activities Walk-Away Activities.

Walk-Away Activities are easy to set up, need only 5 minutes of your time to engage your children, keep their interest and allow you to walk away.

As you read through the following list think of your favourite indoor walk-away activities and add them to the comments or better yet link them up to the Weekly Kid's Co-Op link party. I would love to add more to our daily rhythm.

Blocks
Pillow obstacle course with imaginary snapping crocodiles

Gluing collage materials

Play dough
Sticker pictures
 Little People pretend play
Music making

Pretend play with dolls/action figures/animals

Mummy Musings and Mayhem has a post full of activities that I will be adding to our day.

Chook - 3.5 years old
Strawberry - 24 months
Ooffa - 24 months
Over the next week my co-hosts and I will be visiting your activities. We'd love it if you joined us! Don't forget to leave a comment on a post that takes your interest!

Each week the co-hosts will be pinning their favourites to The Kid's Co-Op Pinterest Board. This will give your activity some great exposure! Activities are also regularly featured on The Kid's Co-Op Facebook Page.

I can't wait to see your activities!

Without further ado here are this week's wonderful link-up's to this weeks Kids Co-op. Make yourself comfortable have a look around and if you have blogged about some unique family orientated fun or educational activity we'd love to see it! Link up and maybe get featured in next weeks showcase!
